Pete received his PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His primary research relates to cultural differences in language, and how economic status shapes our identities and perceptions. He has also held research positions at Seattle Children’s Hospital, University of Washington, and has helped patent several big-data machine learning feature sets in the social media tech industry. When not working on his research or helping others with theirs, he enjoys playing guitar, writing, and pretending he is a good cook.
