Ryan Loh

Biography

Ryan received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. While at UIUC he studied under Dr. Galvez and sought to gain a deeper understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of learning. He is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of Dr. Vlasov, where he studies neural circuits in mice. Data analysis, research design, and project management have been important parts of all of Ryan’s work. In turn, Ryan has gained a deep understanding of many topics and how to build research studies around various types of questions. 
 
In addition to his professional and technical expertise, he loves playing and watching ice hockey, playing board games, and working out.
